I wouldn't exactly describe it as an upgrade. Also this app is a data safety nightmare. Every single person affiliated with semo is searchable and messageable on this app unless they explicitly opt not to be. Got a crazy ex? Congratulations, if they've got a semo email, they can now see when you're online, what groups you're a part of, and what events you're attending. This CAN be made private in the app, but for the default is public.
